Clashes between the russian army and democratic chernarussian forces continued near Kozlovka where russian forces launched an advance earlier this week.
Democratic chernarussian forces -CDF- have not achieved gains in the area, but their operation poses a threat to a russian supply line to the south.
The russian military is deploying reinforcements.
Dense artillery and rocket shelling was reported in Staroye on April 28. US forces and -CDF- coalition were targeted at the area.
This clearly showed that the US Army still need to conduct a number of offensive operations west and southwest of Kozlovka in order to build a buffer zone around the city and to defend populated areas from a shelling by russian forces.
To implement a fluid defense approach the russian artillery units have to be disabled which are currently shelling the US operation area.
Take out the BM-21 Grad Launchers and the D30 artillery gun located in Kozlovka.
